While the rest of you are eating your chocolate bunnies and jellybeans and picking out pastel stuff to wear to the Egg Hunt, we’ll be talking about how our ancestors were slaves in Egypt, and were freed after our god visited plagues and death on our oppressors.

Also, there will be lamb.

  1. Actually, I remember lamb as being tastier than jellybeans, back when I still ate all sorts of meat.

  2. Chocolate bunnies, however, trump everything.. as long as they’re Cadberry.

Of course, there doesn’t need to be a holiday to eat chocolate. :)

  3. A few years back I was shopping for Easter candy for Kidcthulhu, and I saw chocolate crosses in the drugstore. I stared at them in disbelief. “Chocolate CROSSES?” I asked in disbelief. “Who in the world would buy…” I trailed off. My eyes shifted to the chocolate bunnies. Then back to the crosses. To the bunnies them, this time measuring their approximate height. Then back to the crosses.

When I got home, I got out the tiny cooking torch, and one piece of chocolate was fused to the other.

The next morning was a huge hit.

    I’m so going to hell.

  4. Lamb? I guess it is more traditional than Veal Parmesan.

  5. I doubt I could make Veal Parmesan as well as my late uncle Yos did.

Piratecat, I’m afraid we are going to have to demand photographic evidence of this blasphemy.

  6. I miss the haroseth…much better than any mere jelly beans could ever be. :-)
