It just occurred to me that same-sex couples have been allowed to marry in California for over 24 hours now, so I thought I’d better check in with Samwise. To my great relief, the foundations of our opposite-sex marriage have not yet crumbled, and our children remain blissfully unaware of the Homosexual Agenda. Maybe this is process is slower than we’d anticipated.

Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
Did you hear about this insanity? (“[T]he Butte County clerk-recorder issued a June 11 news release saying her office will stop performing wedding ceremonies altogether — for gay and heterosexual couples. The Kern County clerk issued a June 4 release that she would do the same.”)

Yes, a couple of wackaloons from our remoter Territories decided if they had to marry queers, they weren’t going to marry anyone.
Whackaloon is spelled with an h, you know.
Not in Southern California.
Just found you from another person’s blog! Hi!
I am officially reporting that my nine-year opposite-sex marriage is also still going strong. I have in-laws heading into their 50th year. (I’ll check to make sure they’re still okay, and can report back later.)
Maybe someone can come up with a bumper sticker that proclaims to one and all that, Lo!, there are opposite-sex marriages that have survived in spite of Adam & Steve being able to get married.
Or how about a website where people can click to confirm that their male-female marriages are still in good shape?
Slackers!
Looks like we’ll have to scuttle out 36 year marriage just to make up for youse.
Any idea on how to break it to Jane?
